A group of hackers called Shadow Brokers issued a malicious software claiming to belong to the US National Security Agency (NSA).
The group that tried to sell this software, which they had been trying to sell first, then released it for free on the internet.
Some cyber security experts have said that malware is real, but outdated software.
The NSA did not disclose the matter.

To protest Trump
Shadow Brokers stated in their blog post that they were disclosing this software to protest Donald Trump.
The Shadow Brokers suspect that some groups of experts may be linked to the Russian government, saying that "they are not pro-Russia or Putin". But there is no evidence in the hands of those claiming it.
