Drinking water can turn into a far more different experience thanks to a technology that can dissolve in the land and bring the end of pet bottles. A novelty called Ohoo will be able to drink water from spherical objects without using a pet bottle.
It is also known that, if only 38 billion plastic bottles of water are thought of as waste in America annually, it needs about 17 million barrels of oil per year to meet this production.
A manufacturer, Skipping Rocks Labs, offers a new system of packaging services besides pet bottles, which not only pollutes the environment but also provides people with a refreshing drink experience.
Actually it was announced in 2014, but Ooho, the manufacturer, was shown only as a concept in those years. But then the mass was opened to funding and the production process was also started. Thus, if these potable water spheres can be passed through serial production, the use of pet bottles seems to end. Based on marine algae, this technology is mainly made up of an ice crumb extract of calcium chloride and brown algae. When the ice melts, the thin membrane forming the sphere can stay in gelatin form without disturbing and store the water.
In the new system called Ohoo, the thin membrane is edible, but there is no obligation. The company likens the packaging system, which is predominantly herbal, to the fruit shell. It is also stated that this new method is cheaper than plastic bottles.
